Here are practice pieces I've done; have to work on stitching rounded corners and making sure my stitch line is closer to the edge. Feedback/comments you might have so I can get better are appreciated. First one is a Field Notes case (~3oz Tandy veg tan with 0.55mm Twist Linen thread), and the other is a card holder (this was a "how fast can I put something together" attempt). Both patterns are from Makesupply. I do have to say I prefer working with thinner thread. Quote

A stitch groover should solve that, along with the corners (assuming your cut edges are right). Overall, I think it's a nice piece.
