The thread that you used seems a little too thick for my tastes. I wild also suggest making sure your hands are clean or wearing nitrile gloves while stitching, especially when using white thread. There appears to be some body oil discoloration on the inside where you finished the stitches. Other than that it looks like a good start. /dwight Quote

But you and Chuck are correct, using a black thread would have been better, especially since my thread is so thick. That's one of the reasons that I quit trying to finish my stitching by burning the thread. I wound up burning the project too many times. Now I just back-stitch a couple holes and then use small thread scissors or a fine scalpel to cut the thread in the hole. Looks clean and I haven't had any problems with the thread coming out. I still recommend wearing nitrile gloves while stitching. In addition to helping keep the project clean, I've found that I can get a better grip on the needles with the gloves. Helps to reduce hand cramping after a long stitching session. /dwight Quote
