Silverd Report post Posted January 1, 2023 Hi Offered to repair a friend's purse that has damaged edge braiding. Like everything else it's proven to be more difficult than I expected! Does anyone have teachable information about this style of braid? I e seen what looks to be kinda close, but have found nothing on this specific style. In either case, do some practice work where you need to join the starting point to the end point so the lacing looks continuous. See paragraph 11 below. I usually remove several of the starting stitches to get the slope to match. Don't short yourself on the length of the lace when making these joins.
