Rattlesnake inlay guitar strap

Recommended Posts

I was commissioned to build this for a customer in Mississippi. Rattlesnake inlay guitar strap with suede lining. I’m pleased with how it turned out but always welcome constructive criticism!

I agree, very nice.  Inlay is my goal on the gunbelt I plan to do in the very near future.

I certainly hope they paid hundreds of dollars for that strap.

it seems we are often not paid the artistic and skill value of our creations.

So I certainly hope you were paid well.

So much agreeing here.  I've even recently had friend/acquaintance back out after I spent 40 hours and $100 prototyping something for them, because "$70 was a bit expensive, don't you think?"  My work was already priced pretty much free, I didn't feel like paying them to take my work.

OP, your strap is awesome.  I do hope you were paid properly!

Thanks everyone!  I’ve made and sold two of these so far. My price for each was $250. Based on my business model, it works out nicely. Appreciate all the nice words.
