Members Littlef Posted April 5, 2023 Members Report Posted April 5, 2023 Tried to do an actual floral carving. Pretty happy for a 1st try. I also tried dyeing the leather with vinegaroon. The gusset on this little bag, was really tough trying to get the holes to line up. I fought through and got it, but the stitching could definitely be cleaner. Let me know what ya think. Sometimes called "decorative cuts" but there was a gal around here called them (aptly) CONTOUR cuts. The cuts should follow the design, and it adds more realism than a guy might think. Yea I agree, I kinda rushed those cuts, and the leather had dried by the time I finished tooling. The knife wasn't flowing through the leather. I soon as I made them, I thought, I could have done that better. But it was a good learning exercise. Thanks! Quote Regards, Littlef Littlef - YouTube
