Laser Cut Drop Leg Hatchet Sheath

Recommended Posts

Made a drop leg leather sheath for my Winkler Knives Highland Hatchet. Darker brown version was a test piece and was quickly cobbled together. On the second one, I played around with adding graphics, a hinge point and a pull the dot snap....Rory

Looks good. You should design 1 that carries a hatchet & a fixed blade hunting/bushcraft knife.

Nice work.

Thanks. Have been rolling that around, but haven't come up with the best way to do it yet. I wanted to try some sort of piggyback method if I can figure out a good way.

That laser engraved design is cool.  I like the drop leg design that gets the head off your hip away from the pack or other gear.  Have you tried it on the trail yet?  Does it hang on everything, or work out well?

Interesting design. Really like the Nordic vibe... Which I generally don't care for, but yours is very nicely done... And subtle.

Thank you. I need to get it out on the trail. I am working on another version for a tactical hawk. Have a friend down on the US/Mexico border that I may send one to, to try out.
