Members DieselTech Posted January 8 Members Report Posted January 8 Guys & gals I made a few small projects with some small pieces of left over leathers. A couple set of drink coasters made from 2 layers of 6-7vegtan. Then dyed with fiebings pro dye light brown & then oiled. Antiqued with dark brown gel & edge painted. Then I come up with some Bic lighter cases, with a key chain attachment. They are not much, but was good learning aids for using my Cobra class 26 sewing machine. Thanks. Quote
Members AlZilla Posted January 9 Members Report Posted January 9 Looks like you've got a steady hand with the straight lines and clean corners. I think I want to see a wriggle on the plain lighter case on the right side towards the bottom. But it actually follows the edge. Nice work. Quote

Yeah I am getting better at turning corners & machine sewing & keeping my stitches uniform. I did mess up 1 coaster corner, a 90° corner stitch, instead of a radius corner stitch. Thanks. Quote
