Members Wiggo Posted April 2 Members Report Posted April 2 Hello everyone, I hope this is the right place to ask this question. I recently came across a large stock of old German shoemaker needles (NOS – new old stock) that came from a family-owned shoe manufacturing and repair shop which closed about 40 years ago. The items have been stored ever since and appear unused. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding their possible value, collectability, or current market demand. I am considering selling the stock, but first I would like to understand what these products might realistically be worth. Thank you very much in advance for your time and expertise. Best regards Quote

These needles and awls are priceless to shoe makers and repairers who use the Rapid E sole stitchers. They're probably useless to anybody else. I don't know if they can be used in Landis series 12 sole stitchers. Landis and Rapid are the main curved needle machines. There may be clones out there that I'm not aware of. I suspect that a shoe or boot manufacturer may be interested in these needles and awls if they use Rapid machines in production.
