Moderator bruce johnson Posted May 4 Moderator Report Posted May 4 Blades - easy enough for a bladesmith to make. My last commercial source for new blades is gone. Adjustments - Two possible systems for adjustments. Depends on when that Landis was made. The first has slots and bolts on either size of the blade rest supports. Loosen the bolts, slide the side up or down to set the angle you want, and tighten. The second version uses eccentrics. From the back on the left side is a longer shoulder bolt with wings. It goes through an eccentric with a knurled collar. - Loosen, rotate the eccentric to the desirded height/angle and tighten. On the right side there is a hex bolt that goes through an eccentric. Loosen, rotate, tighten. Sometimes these eccentrics are pretty gummy/sticky and you have to use a pliers to free it up.
