Since last post I've made several wide cowboy hat bands using large conchos like the old sk00L southern rockers used to wear.

I finally did take pics of some of the hatbands I’ve made for my Gambler Style Cowboy Hat

There’s numerous Jpeg pics below so hopefully they will display pretty quickly:

Nice work. You got a small fortune in Concho's.

Yeah, I try to find them being sold in packages of 5 or 10 or more at a time to keep conchos expense as low as possible.

As an old retired guy, this gives me something constructive to do and now I'm having people wanting me to make some to sell them.

If I start selling them I'll probably have to pay up to the hat band mafia Don or something then my wife will be having them trying to whack me so she can clean up on some life insurance policy - so I should keep this all on the down low.

Pretty cool hatbands! I agree, it probably costs you a bunch in hardware, but the result looks great.

Thanks!

The only reason I made these was because I couldn't find anyplace to buy them.

This way worked better since I can control how each one is put together and I'm learning more and getting better each time I make a new hat band.

I saw some 2.5 inch slotted conchos that are polished bright light silver.  I might get those and put them on matte black leather.  I'd be like the rhinestone cowboy! 🤣
