Members JLDetroit Posted May 30 Members Report Posted May 30 Please tell me the brand and model of this press. Does it have a specific function? Thanks! Quote
Members Dwight Posted May 30 Members Report Posted May 30 You have to disconnect the "punch" and see what it looks like . . . it'll tell you what is being done on the business end. It resembles a punch press I saw one time that was used to punch holes in belts. The thumb screws on each side allowed the bar to move back and forth to center the punch May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. If you can read, . . . thank a teacher. Moderator bruce johnson Posted May 31 Moderator Report Posted May 31 That is a somewhat generic press. Depending on the end of the ram it may accept screw in dies. Hard to tell for sure from the picture but I don't see enough clearance for a clamped in die. The design almost resembles on of the older Tandy belt presses for pressing in letter sets and 3D stamps but this one looks a little beefier than their old version. Members JLDetroit Posted June 1 Author Members Report Posted June 1 Here is what the bottom of the ram looks like. Appears to be close to the size for Craftool stamps or something similar. Quote
