Anyone out there have a really good image of the holster he used? Better yet . . . a pattern? I've watched the shows . . . and never could get a good handle on his leather. I assume it is similar to the one used in Fury . . . the tank commander carried a 1917 .45 caliber revolver . . . But I'd really like to know . . . If I remember correctly, the original shoulder holster Clint Eastwood used in the movies was an A.E. Nelson No. 9 (and later they used a Bianchi X15 style upside-down or vertical rig for that massive S&W Model 29). I don't think it had any heavy tooling, just a very clean, functional oil-finished leather. Hopefully, someone here has a proper pattern blueprint to share! 🤗 Quote

Members BlackDragon Posted June 23 Members Report Posted June 23 I think what you're talking about is not a Chicago screw, it's part of a snap closure. There is supposed to be a leather strap that wraps around the holster so the gun doesn't fall out. They probably removed it for the movie because it's Hollywood. Quote
