I antiqued it and sent it as a trade. Stupid me forgot to get the picture of it antiqued haha

@eglideride thanks! I like how it came out. I had to use some ity bitty bevelers on it in some spots

That's pretty darn good. I'll bet it looked great finished up.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

“I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!

Thanks. I just splashed some antique on it lol. Ill update if I can get a photo from the recipient.

It was fun to do. I did 1 other but in my late night stupor I forgot my resist so the whole piece ended up muddy.  Oh well , means I got to carve it twice!

That looks absolutely incredible, especially considering it is only 4" by 2.5"! Packing that amount of clean detail into such a small space is seriously impressive. The texture on the wolf's fur is spot on, and you did an amazing job creating a real sense of depth with the background mesas and the moon. Figure carving on this scale requires a ton of patience and excellent knife control, but your beveling and shading look super crisp. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing it with us! 🥰

Thank you for the kind words. It was fun to do. I need a lot of practice with texturing but this came out nice I think. Figure carving really is 95% beveling and matting. Cuts do have to be right on too, or your figures will look wonky haha.. dont ask how I know lol
