Seeking Texas Leather Artisan for Luxury Handbag Development

Hello everyone,

My name is Alexandra, and I'm the founder of a luxury leather handbag brand based in Dallas, Texas.

I'm looking for an experienced leather artisan located anywhere in Texas to collaborate on the development of my first collection. My goal is to build a long-term relationship with someone who genuinely enjoys the craft and takes pride in producing exceptional work.

I'm searching for someone with experience creating high-end leather goods, whether that's luxury handbags, saddlery, small leather goods, or custom leather work. Handbag experience is certainly a plus, but outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail are what matter most.

The quality standard I'm pursuing is one defined by precision, consistency, and thoughtful construction. I'm looking for someone whose work reflects the level of finishing expected from the finest European luxury houses, with clean edge work, accurate stitching, and meticulous attention to detail.

I've attached photos of a sample I previously had made to give you an idea of the design direction and the level of craftsmanship I'm striving for. While the collection is still being developed, these images reflect the quality and attention to detail I'm looking to achieve moving forward.

Initially, the work will focus on prototype and sample development, with the intention of growing into an ongoing relationship as the brand grows. I'm not looking for the lowest-cost manufacturer. I'm looking for the right craftsperson who wants to help build something exceptional from the ground up.

I'm committed to keeping this work in Texas because I'd like to build a close, collaborative relationship with the person making these bags.
