Now I do—literally MacGyvered it on my knee in 20 minutes ) I didn't quite calculate the force and warped the rivet, but it's for personal use, so it's fine as is. Members BlackDragon Posted July 15 Members Report Posted July 15 Nice idea. The issue I see with it is the stitching holes may fail you in this application. If the flashlight gets snagged or pulled the stitching will act as a tear line, like the perforations on paper towels. By this picture this is already starting to happen. Quote

By this picture this is already starting to happen. lol there may be a situation arise when you want it to tear loose. But yeah, a lighter thread stitched correctly down the sides imo.
