Members Silfer Posted August 23 Members Report Posted August 23 Hi all. I have been reading here for a while, mostly the sewing machine threads, so it seems only decent to introduce myself properly. I am a hobbyist from Europe. I've been working with leather for just about a year now, making mostly bags and small goods from vegtan by hand. This month I bought a used Dürkopp Adler 669 ECO and a bell skiver from someone who was giving up the trade. Both machines are considerably better than I am currently, and I am aware of that. I work under the name Silfer Works, and many things ends up documented here: https://silfer.works Pictures below of a few of my hand stitched pieces, the new machines, and the workshop. Thank you, I love the molded stuff as well. I'm planning to make a large backpack that is fully molded into the shape. I'm not sure how it's going to work out, but I have an industrial vacuum pump so I can just test it out.
