Looking for a custom project in the Chicago, IL area

Hi, 

 

I'm looking to commission a custom leather project from my dad's old pair of goalie pads, from roughly 1978ish. They're too far gone to repair to play in so I thought, instead of throwing them away, I could try to repurpose the leather. 

 

Best case scenario, I would love to have a couple cigar cases made and possibly a golf club cover. The leather has not been cared for, but it's not quite dust either. I don't have pictures at the moment, but can get them soon.
