what's parts are missing here ?Pfaff skiving Mashine

Hi everyone, I recently acquired an old Pfaff skiving Mashine. I cannot seem to find what I need for it to work. Does anyone know where I can find what missing ? the Table and motor I do have they're just not visible on the picture. thanks in advance!IMG_4436.HEICIMG_4435.HEICIMG_4434.HEIC

I've never seen a Pfaff made skiving machine, but that looks very similar to early Fortuna skivers with some differences.

It looks like you need belts for one. On this type of skiver you would need belts that can be spliced together in the machine, not an endless belt like the modern ones. The original belts would have been round leather, which is sold by the foot and spliced together with "hog ring" clips.

This style of skiver works with a single clutch motor under the table connected with a belt, and within the machine there is another belt to drive the feed shaft on the back of the machine and another belt to drive the grinder inside, both of which are belted to the main shaft on the front right side of the machine.

The main section I see missing is the assembly that supports the feed roller and keeps it under spring pressure. It's a cast iron bracket that holds the roller in place but allows it to move and spring back. If its like the old Fortunas, my guess is that you'll only be able to get these pieces 2nd hand somewhere if you can find another skiver like yours. It's possible that the same parts from other makes/models will fit, but the frame appears much thicker than other skivers so can't guarantee what will fit.
