Is there anyone on here with experience in the singer 132 k6 who would be willing to chat about issues we are currently having- we are located in Victoria, Australia and have 2 of these amazing beasts.

Thank you, the upper thread as it travels around the hook body is not being released to create the stitch every time, any ideas?  Thank you very much for responding.

Do you have a service manual?

Let's see some photos of how the machine is threaded, from the spool to the eye of the needle.

Then let's see a close-up photo or video of where along the hook/bobbin the thread is getting stuck.

sounds like a problem with the bobbin case retainer spring. Its probably too tight. As friquant said, pictures and a Video would be nice.

Thank you for the service manual, we only had a simple version.  I have attached a photo of where the bobbin thread ends up and it just stays there instead of sliding off if that makes ny sense.  Thank you all.

does not help much. if it was me Id watch the thread when it travel around the hook and check where it keeps hanging. I assume its the above mentioned spring.
