What size of thread & type is best for machine sewing saddle skirts. Will be using an old treadle machine, capable of up to 7/16 of an inch. :deadsubject:

I DO NOT HAVE A TREADLE MACHINE BUT I DO HAVE" THE BOSS", I USE NYLON THREAD.

SIZE IS #207 IN THE BOBBIN AND TOP STICH WITH #277.

I don't know the answer but I was wondering if there was a thread and needle tutorial for leather sewing machines?
