pilotmill Report post Posted March 18, 2009 hello all, I have only been a member for a few days and just wanted to post and say HI. I pretty new to leather work, I got here on the road of need of traditional archery supplies and didnt want to pay an arm and leg for it, so got to work. I am enjoying it so much that I have started to look at alot of projects and even thinking that this might make a wonderful second career, saddle and tack. Anyway, I am blown away by the quality of workmanship, the ideas and just how nice this place is. Thanks in advance for the great enjoyment I have found here and in leather. BillB Report post Posted March 22, 2009 Pilotmill, Welcome to the forum. By now you have probably already figured out that there are lots of friendly folks around here willing to offer advice on heir experiences with leather crafts. You will also find that leather crafts is a pretty broad subject area covering everything from classical tooling of saddles to leather masks, art work, armor, belts etc. Since you are into archery I hope you have found the forum at: Leatherworker.net > Specialty Leatherwork > Other Specialties > Archery Quivers and Bow Cases You will also find a quick reference chart that maps out the website and the various topic areas. Leatherworker.net > Leather is tanned animal skins, and is a byproduct of the meat industry. > Board Ambassadors Again, Welcome to the forum BillB
