My son came to me earlier in the week and asked me to make a photo album for him to give as a wedding gift. He was laid off a couple of weeks ago so he really didn't have any money for a nice gift. So I rushed this one out the last couple of nights after work.

I'm happy with it as I had to rush it out. It's basically a cover for a three ring binder. I was lucky that Wal-mart had their photo pages on sale for $.75 a pack. Good timing for a change. The back is plain with just my logo stamped at the bottom. I made him pay me a dollar for it. I told him that way the gift was from him not me. LOL

I used chap leather on the inside.

That's really nice Art! It has a rich old world look that's really unique! Like an expensive antique, leather bound book! :specool:

Beautiful, Art! I am sure the couple is going to love it and your son is going to get credit for some great "shopping"!

Beautiful work - I love the richness you brought out in the piece. Really sharp. (And I have to love both your son's thrifty attitude and give you kudos for your familial support!)

Lovely job, Art. I especially liked the spine. The whole thing is very nicely laid out and well finiished.

That's some fine looking work there. Great job! I really like the patterns between the beadwork.

That will be a family Treasure. You did a fine job, but I would have charged him 2 dollars!
