It looks as if you stitched it together rough then trimmed it, but took it too far. Did you use an edge slicker to mark stitch lines? How did you cut it? what with? The stich line down the top of barrel looks very well, but I think the leather also could have been a little sharper on the bends, it's less likely to stretch out of shape that way. Members katsass Posted November 11, 2009 Members Report Posted November 11, 2009 (edited) OK Vikefan, you've got it going.........but.......along with the other coments, the stitching around the trigger guard should be a little tighter. You may want to watch the area around the mag release button......leather there could end up dropping the mag on you while you are wearing it, and you might also want to stitch around the belt loops. Of course you should take my advice for what it's worth...or at least as much as you paid for it. I don't have much call for pancake holsters anymore but here is a pic of one I did a number of years ago. On this pancake the belt loops are much closer to the body of the holster than on your's, and the gun is smaller...a LLama .380, so they aren't completely stitched. Stitching around your belt loops can help stop stretching in that location. Keep it up guy, you're doing well.
