JUKI DU-1181N or DDL-8700L

Everybody has been very helpful so far. But I have yet another question. Does anyone have any expierience with the JUKI DU-1181N or DDL-8700L? I will be sewing up to layers 8/9oz and 1 layer 5/6 or 2 layers 10/11 oz leather. I like the Idea of both the walking foot & bottom feed on the DU-1181N.

Hi Kris, if you are going to be sewing leather, then the DU-1181N would be the machine to use. The DDL-8700L is a single needle designed for the garment industry. You will be best served to use a servo motor and speed reducer when using the machine for leather. Thanks, Steve
