I think it looks nice. The flowers add just enough carving and the background gives it neat texture. I like the color and the darker edges.

Very Nice Work, I like the Simplicity of the design, and what did you use to Stain/dye it with? And at a Glance, did you set the snap with a Rivetback concho on the tan bag? I have a few of those and began to think so.

the snap on the front is in fact a tandy shelf item called econo rope-edge concho with rivet 5/8" the rivet shaft looked the same to me as the snap head that came with the kit I installed it the same as setting the snap... it worked out perfectly. I thought it would add a touch of class instead of the plain silver rivet that came with it as the bag had a simple look to it I wanted to give it that something special.

as for the dye basically I oiled the parts, let it suntan for a couple days used tandys black antique then the mohagony antique, one rub-on rub-off of each. then let it sit in the oven (piolet light only) over night with a good coat of snow seal. rubbed off excess the next day then a final two coats of nuetral shoe polish.
