How to Make a LARP Sword Frog

This is a tutorial I made today for non-leatherworkers to get started on a simple project. Hope it can help someone.

The image help a lot.

I was searching for a small carving project to begin with and the frog looks like a fun project.

FOr the smaller, more elegant swords you Canadians use (Ateliers-Nemesis, Calimacil, etc.) I tend to make these frogs longer (maybe 6" wide instead of three or four) and smaller diameter, and often line them with velvet to save wear on the latex.

I usally line my sword holder with "feutrine" (I am not sure of the correct word in english, but it is artificial felt)

Hey thanks for the tutorial!

I just made one for my husband before I saw your tutorial so mines a bit different but I like your idea of a tie down ring for the draw. Nice tutorial👍
