My First Work With An Exotic

this holster for a sig p232 is trimmed with king cobra, the edge tutorial helped me understand how to wax burnish and the edges blended very well and more easily than i had hoped. stained with dk cocoa brown and it matched perfect with the skin. now to make a matching belt.........

made the mag. holder today and have started the belt (which will be way cool) should have it completed before the end of the week (twice the hand sewing of my last belt), i will post a picture of it here when finished.

took several evenings to finish the belt, didn't have enough cobra skin for take 2 so i took my time. the skin was burnished onto a 1" strip and inlayed into the top layer of the dual layer belt.

i decided to make a wristband out of the tail section of that cobra skin, it came out good enough to replace, at least for now, the silver braid inlayed wristband i have been wearing lately.
