I've finished a leather planner/notebook cover and the customer wants to know if I can now stamp initials on it. Not sure how that would work. Anyone out there ever done that? If so, how'd you do it? How'd it turn out?

Attached is an image of the piece. I sure appreciate any help you can give me.

Bison i have did it before, wet the Leather well, let it dry some. cross your fingers

and hold your breath, then hope the letters dont bounce if you are stamping the name,

then again if you are carving the letters, i think it would be o k.....But you might have

water marks.....

Yes there are Varables!!!

bison: I tried to do that many years ago.........with less than a successful result. I never even thought of doing it again. Mike

NOTE TO SELF: Never try to hold a cat and an operating Dust buster at the same time!!

At my age I find that I can live without sex..........but not without my glasses.

Being old has an advantage.......nobody expects me to do anything in a hurry.

Thanks Mike. I appreciate the advise from a "learned lesson"!
