Just getting started on a new calf roping saddle for myself and got the bright idea to try and put pointed square skirts on it tro try and do something different from other saddles that I have built in the past. Been looking around at a bunch of different saddles with square skirts on them to try and get some ideas on shape and size but thought I would see if anyone had built any square skirted saddles in the past and if there are any tricks/tips you could give me to try and make the process as easy as possible.... if thats possible?
