Pig Skin Lining For Arm Bracers

Recommended Posts

I have made a set of arm bracers with an included carved bone decoration I also made myself (I carve bone necklaces as well) and my previous mentor suggested I glue some pig skin on the inside of the bracer for comfort. My question for the pros here is: A. which side of the pigskin should be going against my skin?

and B: Is contact cement the right thing to use?

Contact cement or spray adhesive, with binding at the edges- lace or stitch.

It doesn't matter which side goes out (against your arm). Just wrap a piece around your arm one way, then switch it, and decide which feels better....there's your answer.

Also, would you mind uploading a smaller version of the pic? 800x600 is the standard email view, and the preferred size for posting pics.
