Braid In The Center Of Bracelet

Does anyone know how this is done, or have a tutorial on how this is done?

That appears to be a line of holes on each side, with the string alternating it's bite on the braid with a pass through the holes.

If you can do a double loop lace then you can do this one. Just punch 2 rows of holes or

lacing splits and start your lacing.

This is called an applique lace. It is simply a double loop cordovan lace done flat rather than over the edge of your piece of leather. The Tandy leathercraft library has a video on it but I think it is in the paid section. In the past week I have used this lacing technique on several projects.
