CustomDoug Report post Posted November 24, 2012 Does anyone know how my American cell phone number would be written in French? I'm trying to place an order for some leather tools on a French website and this detail is holding up the progress.. I've tried it all sorts of ways. Anybody know how it's done? CustomDoug Report post Posted November 24, 2012 never mind, I got this figured out finally.. well, not really figured out but the number was mysteriously accepted as I had tried it a few times before - website glitch I guess.
HellfireJack Report post Posted November 24, 2012 Just for reference, when dealing with other countries you should give a country code with the phone number. USA is +1. so the number would be given like this: +1 555 555-5555
CustomDoug Report post Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) Just for reference, when dealing with other countries you should give a country code with the phone number. USA is +1. so the number would be given like this: +1 555 555-5555 Yea I had eventually figured that out but everything else I read about France and phone numbers said that the numbers should be in groups of 2 digits. I tried it every which way possible at least 3 or 4 times. It turned out taking it basically as I would normally enter it in the US with a 1 and a dash between numbers.... even though I tried that several times initially. Thanks.
