I know there are a lot of bible cover images out here but here is one that I did for my youngest son. He wanted to be able to carry his Sunday school books in the same cover.

The cover was inspired by the three crosses on the hill and the crown of thorns. I remember seeing something like this years ago in a tattoo and this is my version of a memory.

Any comments good or bad are welcome. Now that it is done I definately would have done a lot of this differently. Yes that is Roo lace and it took 17 yards, sheesh.

That's beautiful Bob, you did a fantastic job on this. I especially like the extra area for the Sunday School papers....great idea.

Thank you eveyone for the kind words. The sunday school paper area was wet formed over a pine wood mold out of 2-3 oz then the tooled area was backed with 6-7 oz to give it rigitity.

The kids use a word to describe things they really like, . . . "awesome", . . . and it certainly is that.

My makers mark is three crosses on a hill, . . . so you got my attention right away

And as a pastor also, . . . I can see someone in many years to come, . . . lovingly looking at a piece of his physical history, . . . and his spiritual history, . . . and counting himself blessed.

Now, . . . you've also given me a gift idea for a son and daughter in law, . . . thank you.

May God bless,

Dwight
