Hey folks,

I'm looking for a New Zealand-based leatherworker to create products for live action role-playing such as belts, bags, boots, weapon-holders, scabbards, quivers and armour. It will be a mixture of relatively simple, standard products and premium, made-to-order, detailed designs. The largest interest is in medieval fantasy goods, however there is also a growing appetite for steampunk and apocalyptic futuristic gear and an interest in Western and other historical settings.

My company Paddywhack is the largest retailer of larp goods in New Zealand, and I also sell a good deal to Australia. Aside from my web-shop I also attend larp events and conventions, and I'm an active member of the community, so I can offer a great outlet for your works. Most of my sales are made in person at events. The larp community in New Zealand and Australia is growing rapidly, and leatherworks are one of the most popular items.

Paddywhack currently sells imported leather goods, but I'd love to bring some work home to New Zealand and have someone local who can make custom items to order with those special details that tie into a player's character concept.

If you're interested to discuss this, drop me an email at ryanpaddywhack@gmail.com

Cheers,

Ryan Paddy
