Ambassador freak Posted April 16, 2013 Ambassador Report Posted April 16, 2013 bASS strap for a local band member. Just waiting for his strap locks to punch some holes. Then it's off to hit the stage. first pic is a pic of the bass . My take of his artwork, before i killed it. Dye,dye, dye!! Lined, laced and all stiched up. testing the waters on scrap for the next strap. stay creative my friends... Quote
Members Jazznow Posted April 16, 2013 Members Report Posted April 16, 2013 Hi there I think you adopted that artwork very well and you did a great job on carving it. Jonathan Quote
Members chancey77 Posted April 16, 2013 Members Report Posted April 16, 2013 Sweet! I feel your pain on that triple loop stitch border! ............So how many days did that take you:) Quote
Members David8386 Posted April 16, 2013 Members Report Posted April 16, 2013 Outstanding work, like Chancey how many days on the laced edge? My hands hurt for days after the last one I laced like that. But seriously you did a great job on it, tooling, color, lace, and finish all blend together for a great piece of art. Thanks for posting it. David Quote
Ambassador freak Posted April 16, 2013 Author Ambassador Report Posted April 16, 2013 thanks ! The round braid took about 7 hours give or take a few sandwiches. Lucky me i get to do it on the next one as well. Truth, I'd rather lace then hand stich. Quote
