Saddle Stitch In More Detail.

Recommended Posts

My last video was more of an answer to a question to help out a fellow LW Forum member.

This is a bit of everything on the Saddle Stitch.

It covers going round a corner with a Pricking Iron, Stitching Right and Left handed.

Starting off and finishing a row of stitching.

It is by no means the be all and end all of stitching leather but I hope it helps a few bods who are starting out.

Thanks for your informative videos. I got to say my stitching has improved tremendously since I started looking at your clips. Hope to see more in the future. Really would like to see how to get those incredible finished edges.

Cheers

Peter

Thanks, Nigel for this excellent video. I am truly inspired by all of your videos; you are an excellent teacher and produce some fantastic goods. I am gonna steal the idea for your stitching pony/work surface; just love it.

There are a few bods sourcing suitable logs, I shall take some decent photos of how the clam attaches to the log and stick a post up.

I can't imagin it's an origional idea, I'm not that clever, but it is an invaluable addition to the workshop.

It's probably boring for everyone to say the same thing, but I don't feel like breaking out the thesaurus this morning. Great video!
