I'll be picking up a Singer 153W103 cylinder-arm machine today and wondered what they are best used for. I'll be using it for simple products in upholstery-weight leather. I have a 29K60 patcher (still need a part or two before it's ready), and hope I'm not moving in the wrong direction with a cylinder-arm machine. I'm still looking for a flatbed compound walking foot.
