Dragon Belt I Made As A Custom Order For A Client

This was my first time stamping a scale design, I think it turned out well. :)

The buckle was chosen by the customer and is from an Etsy seller. The belt tip is from Raymond's Quiet Press.

Wow those "scales" look absolutely amazing! How did you get that effect? Is that a stamp or carving? The gold color looks really great also. Great job!

I only have a small selection of stamps. mainly the ones that came with the kit I bought from Tandy many moons ago. So I played around with them and ended up using the camouflage stamp. It took many scraps of leather before I got the look I was after.

I am super impressed at how well those scales turned out. I know that questions on how to do scales for fish and such have come up in the past, but this is amazingly executed and should pose an a good example of how to go about it. Thank you for sharing it with us.
