set of santa ynez style reins i just finished, the guy who ordered them carved the popper, one of my favorite projects so far

Nice! I like the Santa Ynez style because it helps keep the size of the wad in your hand smaller when roping. Seventy feet of reata make the wad plenty big all by it's self.

yeah i traded these for a new bit, now im thinkin im gonna have to braid a set as a christmas present to myself and get it all rigged up

Nice work, how many strands on the reins & are they split into 2 or three? Thanks, Buck

this pair goes from 8 square split to 2 4 strands, seems to have a nice feel

Thanks, I've seen them split to 2 & to 3, but I think I like the 2 the best. I haven't tried a set yet, but plan to, so I'm getting ideas. Like yours a lot. Buck

for me the hardest part was keeping everything straight but other than that they were pretty easy
