Cs Osbourne Rotary Punch

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I have an old CS osbourne and the anvil is toast. I ordered a new one but it is for the 155 punch. Mine is not a 155 it is there old one. The anvil is smaller then the one for the 155. Would anybody know where I might be able to find a replacment. The punch is still good and I don't have the funds to replace it with a 155. Any help would be nice. Thank you.

You can make one with a copper bolt if you can't locate one.

You can drill and use a nut or drill and tap.

You can even cement a couple of pennies together or use a piece of nylon if you need it right away.

Can you sand or file the anvil you ordered to fit?

I wouldn't open the hole in the puch up to much though, fear of weakening the jaw. Just my thoughts

J hayes that was my thought I as well. I was just hoping to find one instead of trying to sand it down. and I didn't want to drill the hole out any bigger.

Tree reaper- I never thought of trying to find a copper bolt. I will have to see if I could possible find one.

Thanks.

You might not even have to drill it if you go with a 3/16 copper bolt.

It looks like they're using a copper contact type rivet for the anvil.

A electrical supply that deals in bus bars and other specialties might even stock that rivet.
