Us Source For Photo Engraved Stamps A La Ian Atkinson

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of a company here in the US that will make a sheet of photo engraved stamps in magnesium, like the ones described in this video by Ian Atkinson?

The company Ian used is in the UK: http://www.leprevo.co.uk/

There must be a company in the US that makes this sort of thing, but I can't find one.

thanks!

Do you HAVE to have magnesium? There are several people who can do it in other materials.

What are your goals exactly?

Magnesium is the material they use, but I don't care about what kind of material is used. You have to cut them out mount them, but it is A LOT less expensive than ordering laser cut stamps.

Thanks, Glockanator. Have you ordered from either of these companies? If so, what did you order? I'd like send them a page of images to put on a 8.5 by 11 inch plate that I'll cut and mount myself.

I have not ordered from them still trying to nail down my mark. I did get a quote for a plate that was 8 1/2 × 11 from Phillips engraving for $145. They did say there was no minimum size requirement when ordering. Hope this helps

Many thanks, again, for the information. Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out a design too. At least I know who to go to now and what it will cost me.
