Putting Chrome Ball Chain On Leather. Why Is It Top Secret On How To Put These Two Things Together?

I've searched everywhere trying to find a FREE tutorial or article or photo of attaching chrome ball chain to leather, around the edges and such so it can make the biker gear look even better. Nothing.

Anyone know how to do this?

You could hand stitch it to the edge or stitch it to a piece of fabric and put the fabric between the layers of leather and machine stitch it.

You need to punch a small hole between each ball of the chain, the chain is then sewn to the leather. The thread starts on the bottom, comes up thru the hole, around the chain and back thru the same hole, then on to the next hole. A long chain will take a while but that's how it's done.
