Jimbob Report post Posted April 24, 2014 Forget abot the Singer Shoe patcher...can not make large stitches and will not work on thicker leather...the Consew walking foot will be able to do light wallets and canvas bags....thats pushing it...all else needs a good leather stitcher....like a Cowboy, a large Adler or some Adler clones...not cheap but will be a money maker for many moons to come !! Look for a good used Singer 211 or 111...walking foot, they can do little wonders but 138 thread is most you can use on top !!...
