Members code3leathers Posted June 3, 2014 Members Report Posted June 3, 2014 Hello everyone, This is my first time on here and I'm in need of opinions on Sewing machines. I currently hand stitch Suspenders and Radio Holsters for Firefighters. With the way I build the holsters I think I would like to have a Shoe Patcher because of the ability to sew in different directions. But the machines that I have been able to find online only use the smaller threads. I would like to use larger thread <200. Is there anyone out there that knows of a Patcher style machine that sews the bigger thread? I know another option is to use a Cylinder Arm style machine but finding one that has a smaller diameter arm, and that sews larger thread is tough to find. I know I'll sacrifice the ability to sew 360', but that could be overcame with a design change possibly. I like the Tippman Boss, but I'm afraid the arm diameter will be to big for my Holster design. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Randy Quote
