My attempt at a rifle scabbard for a friend to surprise her husband. She needed a custom case as the rifle didn't fit properly into any store bought scabbards. It has a bi-pod thingy on it so that takes up extra room.

I had fun doing the basket weave and the copper rivets were a learning experience.

I had fun creating this, I didn't have a pattern to work with and she is very happy with how it turned out.

I want to work on my burnishing some more so it really shines next time.

Thanks for looking.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Compliments certainly boost ones confidence.

Not only a lot of leather.. a LOT of basket weave over and over.. I like it, I'd be afraid I'd be mostly done and whack one sideways. ;)

Very nice.
