Members Landrewlb Posted December 31, 2014 Members Report Posted December 31, 2014 I purchased a Juki 1541S sewin machine second-hand & it's in excellent condition. It came with the instruction book of how to mount it to the table, basic threading of the machine, how to wind the bobbin, how to set the tension both on the upper thread & bobbin thread. I keep adjusting & sewing...adjusting & sewing...etc... I can't seem to get the bobbin thread to get pull up into the center of the leather. I been sewin with the same thickness of scrap material thru-out this whole adjust & sew thing. I can even see the knot on the back where the bobbin thread & top thread meet. Been all over the YouTube and Google to see what I can find out & have come up empty-handed. The older gentleman I'm learnin my leatherwork practice/love from has Adler machines & dudn't know how to adjust my machine either. So, if anyone can shed some lite on what I can do, a book I can purchase, etc..., I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance! Quote
