I like the design. I have been thinking of making the same type of thing to carry business cards around in.

The color is cool, dark and grimy like the subject matter.

As for critiques, I would sand your edges after you sew then and before you finish them . It will bring the two pieces of leather even before edge finishing.

I would also reccomend rounding your corners, Sharp square corners will be come blunted and wrinkled just kind of crappy looking very quickly. Especially being carried in, and taken in and out of a pocket.

Looks pretty cool, like the carvin'.

Only thing I can add aside from what the others said is I'd move that snap up a little. It looks a bit too close to the bottom for me.

I agree with moving the snap up a bit, and rounding corners. As far as sanding it is a must for a professional look but I sand then stitch, I never can seem to sand evenly to an existing stitch line lol.

Scott

I have another one to do so I will definitely take all these great ideas in to consideration..ok who am I kidding I'm gonna change it and do them all lol..now after I dyed it already, resolened it..and waxed it..is it still possible to go back and re-do the edges on the teddy bear one? I figured if I sanded it and did the edges up right I can re dye it , re seal it, re burnish it and re wax it right?

You should not have to re dye or refinish anything except the edges. Just sand the edges till you get them smoothed out and looking good. Re bevel the edge do a little more light sanding to blend in the beveled edge re dye your edges burnish until you get the look you want and reseal the edges.

It looks good, adding what the others said. You could also do a magnet, instead of the snap, and turn it into a money clip/small wallet!
