dirkba Report post Posted December 14, 2015 Hi Sawyer, That scabbard looks great. I like the project, but have doubts about using sheep shearing as a liner. If the scabbard is going to be used outdoors the shearing might attract moisture. Oil and dirt particles are going to collect over time and become a problem when it "grinds" off the beautiful finish of that masterpiece! Sawyer Report post Posted December 14, 2015 Hi Dirkba, I only use the case for transport in my vehicle to and from the range, I wipe the gun down before putting it back in the case and take it out when I get home.
