Couple Of New Draw Down Stands

Recommended Posts

I just made myself a draw down stand and decided to make one for my mentor as a gift for all he has taught me. I think they turned out pretty nice and he was like a kid at Christmas when I took his to him yesterday. I can't wait to start my next saddle on it. The frames are 1 1/2" tubing and 1 1/2" angle.

Nice work

It's nice to have metal fabrication skills, as well as others

Thanks TZ. Welding is probably the one thing from high school that I've actually gotten some use out of.

You did a great job on the draw down! You will get years of good use out of that one. They can be pricey when you buy one.

I wish you much success.

Thanks Sandy. You are right about them being expensive and I just have a hard time paying for something I know I can build myself. Then if I don't like it or something isn't quite right I can only blame myself and I usually have more time than money.
