Another Order the went out..... Herman Oak tooled.... Customer wanted it in black. Black washes out the tooling so I added a little extra color to the flower centers to make them pop20160518_083642-2 (600x800).jpg20160518_083747-2 (800x600).jpg

I didn't use a resist.... started with the center color and worked out with paint brush and then worked in with the black on a paint brush......using multi coats to blend the colors together.

That's incredible! I love it! Forgive my ignorance, but are the dimples on the cartridge loops purely decorative?

Yeah, that is very impressive work. (Too much bling for my liking, I'd feel embarrassed wearing a rig like that ;)).

I missed this when it first posted.  All I have to say is Wow! Very, very nice job of carving and coloring. I don't know much about holsters, but I'd darn sure wear that one!
